Biden administration announces focus on ‘flooding the zone’ with life-saving overdose reversal medicine | CNN The Biden administration launched an initiative Wednesday that it describes as a nationwide call to increase training on and access to life-saving opioid overdose reversal medications, dubbed the Challenge to Save Lives from Overdose.
Expanding access to treatment is at the heart of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Overdose Prevention Strategy. Prevention, Harm Reduction and Recovery are also important pillars of the work. This remains an all hands on deck effort and SAMHSA remains committed to it.
