Big thanks to Ancient Arts Yarns for the dye studio tour in Calgary last weekend! It was such a treat to hear Caroline talk about their yarn lines, where the wool comes from, and their practices for dyeing.

And now after seeing Calgary and surrounding mountains, I see why they have such dynamic colors - never ending inspiration from nature!

Home now, and reflecting on how great it is to be in person with the people you mainly chat with online. Lots of laughing, comparing travel stories, hearing about their towns and their work. So very lucky to have 2 weekends in a row of this (Flock & Knit City). Love the people behind the yarns we carry 💕

Knitting basics classes are up on the calendar- all the way to the fall! Rachel of has a wonderful series of classes starting with the very basics, continuing onto knitting in the round, then small circumference knitting. Perfect progression for a beginner, or jump into the middle of if you have a baseline, or if you just need a refresh on skills! She also has sock, shawl, and tee classes happening this summer & fall.
