Both augmented reality and artificial intelligence have become increasingly utilized in the manufacturing world. Such technology creates more resilient supply chains by supporting remote technology, streamlining maintenance, and promoting cross-functional collaboration throughout the supply chain. With AI and AR, machines are able to self-diagnose operational issues and schedule preventative maintenance resulting in a more lean manufacturing environment.

Most firms have an abundance of scope 3 emissions as these combine all Greenhouse Gas emissions from both upstream and downstream activities. Apple is one of the many firms attempting to deplete these emissions and create a carbon neutral supply chain by 2030. Apple can achieve their environmental goals by calling upon their suppliers to implement more sustainable production processes such as reducing solid waste from going into landfills.

Helen Keller is a historic example of how you can make the impossible possible. She was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was also the first deaf and blind person to receive a Bachelor's degree in Arts. She traveled to twenty five different countries giving motivational speeches and advocating for people with disabilities. Helen Keller remains an influential figure even after her death in 1968.

Widely known by her non-fiction American novels, Anne Lamott is a hero to many. She is also a progressive political activist, public speaker, and writing teacher. Lamott primarily writes autobiographies regarding alcoholism, single-motherhood, depression, and Christianity. Many reward Lamott for her self-deprecating sense of humor and openness to taboo topics.

Co-founder of American Telephone and Telegraph Company (AT&T) and patented inventor of the telephone is Alexander Graham Bell. Bell was a Scottish inventor, scientist, and engineer who also worked in optical telecommunications, hydrofoils, and aeronautics. Although not one of the 33 founders, Bell provided a strong influence to the National Geographic Society, and later served as the second president in 1898 until 1903. In total, Bell was guaranteed 18 individual patents and was a part of 12 other collaboration patents.

Considered one of the Great American Novels, Mobey Dick, was written by Herman Melville in 1851. During the American Renaissance period of 1830 - 1865, Melville gained popularity through his short stories, novels, and poems. However, many scorned Melville’s psychological and creative viewpoints, resulting in a minimal audience till his work was later discovered and became an American classic.

Best known for his leadership as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during World War II, Winston Churchill was an evolutionary leader. Churchill was also a Nobel Prize-winning writer and historian, an educated soldier, a Boer War hero, and a prolific painter. He was elected into Parliament in 1900 and retired in 1964 which represented a total of five constituencies. As a member of parliament, Churchill served as the Board of Trade and Home Security where he championed prison reform and workers’ social security. Many have, and will continue to look up to Winston Churchill and his honorable actions.

Before his retirement in 1980, Arthur Ashe was the first, and only, Black man to win three Grand Slam singles titles at Wimbledon, the U.S. Open, and the Australian Open. He was ranked the number one male tennis player in the world by Bud Collins in 1975. Ashe was extremely disciplined by excelling in both academics and sports which led him to a tennis scholarship to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Later, in 1963, Ashe was seen in Sports Illustrated and was deemed the first Black tennis player ever to be selected for the United States Davis Cup Team, the U.S. tennis team. After retirement, Ashe founded the National Junior Tennis League and spread awareness of civil rights.

Similar to many other industries, the wine industry has suffered significant obstacles amidst the pandemic. Delays in construction has caused mass delays in the production and operations for many wineries. Furthermore there have been difficulties for the wine industry have been seen through equipment breakdowns and the unavailability for new equipment. These challenges create significant panic within wineries without the proper equipment, the production process cannot commence, putting the entire harvest at risk of spoilage.
