To keep Covid-19 vaccines safe V-safe has been implemented as a smartphone-based tool using texts and web surveys for health check-ins after you have been vaccinated
With V-safe you can tell CDC if you are experiencing side effects. Depending on your answers someone from the CDC may contact you to check up on you.

How are we planning to distribute the Covid-19 Vaccination?
Remember to pre-register via online for decreased wait times which will include the date and time to be there
On the day of your vaccination we will have a four to seven drive-thru lane system with 4 staff members in each station to help with administration of vaccination

In comparison to 18-29 year old’s, adults aged
30-30 years were 2x higher to be hospitalized and 4x higher of death
40-49 years were 3x higher to be hospitalized and 10x higher of death
50-64 years were 4x higher to be hospitalized and 30x higher of death
65-74 years were 5x higher to be hospitalized and 90x higher of death
75-84 years were 8x higher to be hospitalized and 220x higher of death
85+ years were 13x higher to be hospitalized and 630x higher of death

On December 11, 2020 The U.S. FDA issued the first emergency use authorization for a vaccine for the prevention of Covid-19. This emergency use authorization allows the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine to be distributed in the U.S.
Common side effects of the vaccination typically last several days including:
-Pain at the injection site
-Tiredness
-Headache
-Muscle pain
-Chills
-Joint pain
-Fever
More people experienced these side effects after the second dose than after the first dose
