She is almost one year post op for the upper and brow treatment. She is about one month out from the lower bleph!

Some patients separate their procedures based on goals. Lower Eyelid Contour and Restoration!...is complex and customized. This is a cool example of lower eyelid rejuvenation after a comprehensive blepharoplasty, fractional laser and radiofrequency microneedling and cheek volume restoration. Now, instead of relative convexity (eye bag) and concavity (cheek volume loss,ligament and muscle stretching) there is a naturally smoother contour.

The SMIZE Special! So subtle, powerful, and elegant. This lovely soul recognized some changes around her eyes and noticed the upper eyelid skin gradually covering areas of her eyelid she was able to see before, creating a tired and crowded appearance and a heavy sensation.

Brightening lower eyelids is a common consultation. There are several modalities including nonsurgical and surgical and they are most effectively used in combination. The is to create a naturally smooth contour flow from the lashes to the cheek-- addressing the double convexity of the *relative* fat protrusion, loss of skin elasticity, ligament loosening , and volumetric deficit.

She noticed a tired eye appearance gradually over time.

She has loss of elasticity of her upper eyelid skin and brow descent, both contributing to the crowded appearing upper eyelid area. Furthermore she has a naturally low eyebrow (i.e. present her entire life)and although there is some brow laxity, it's imperative that a brow rejuvenation procedure consider this and be customized to maintain her natural anatomy. This will reposition the brow softly and tastefully, avoiding an overdone or unnatural contour.

1️⃣OPTICS: the hooded skin does not reflect as much light, creating the optical illusion of darkening. The contoured blepharoplasty allows more light entrance into the crease which reflects back and illuminates.

Wonderful customized case highlighting the functional unit of the brow and eyelid.
Pre Op: She noticed asymmetry and a tired appearance. Anatomically, she has ptosis (left eyelid) which stimulates left brow lifting. She also has a skin fold of BOTH upper eyelids but the left isn't as obvious because the brow lifting is stretching the skin.

Procedure: We agreed upon a ptosis Repair and blepharoplasty.

Post Op: What natural balance ⚖️ She appears brighter and more symmetric. She is still raising the brow just a tad, but that will settle over time (muscle memory!).

She is thrilled to feel more confident and gain back what simply changed overtime (i.e. she did not gain something she never had: the eyelid soft tissue changes over time and surgery reasonably and safely helped her achieve her goals!)
