Day in The Life
W/ Spencer Semien


Originally from Aurora, CO Spencer found his way out West to Los Angeles a decade ago and has been constantly on the grind ever since. Turning pro for with a signature graphic by the legendary VCJ and dropping so many parts we can hardly keep track it’s hard to believe Spencer does anything but skate and film.

Spencer spends his precious down time chilling with his fiancee, composing diss tracks about bad co-workers/bosses, in constant search of elusive car parts/mods on the World Wide Web & writing lists (you gotta peep his stories, they’re amazing). When he’s not in the streets adding to his prolific list of video parts, you will probably find him at Stoner in LA or DPark when he’s back in CO blasting tricks up the features most of us struggle to go down.

Kicking off our second edition of the 303 Boards Day in The Life series is the multi-talented Mr. Alex Gould. A relatively new edition to the joining us from his home state Iowa back in 2018, Alex wowed the crowd at the inaugural King of The Hill in Boulder (BSNB on the trunk of the cop car… it was pretty buck) and soon became a familiar face in our edits and product campaigns. His style on and off the board is a sight to behold, and if you’re lucky enough to chance a meeting at Breck or Cush park, you’ll know what we’re talking about.

Fast forward a few years & one global Pandemic later, and we find Alex on the tail end of more than a year of recovery from reconstructive knee surgery, flexing (pun intended) his creative muscles in his artwork, exploring his lifelong love of cars and the outdoors in his as well as re-kindling the passion for skateboarding. Along with holding down an actual job and his myriad pastimes, somehow Alex still finds quality time for his marvelous fiancée Bo their dog Carti & cat Frita, energy to rip around the mini-bike and the tenacity to sport a seriously grown-up looking mustache.

Day in The Life

Say hello to the man behind all our photos* and videos for the last several years, Ohio native Nate Rowland. Our staff Photographer/Filmer does a lot more than just point and shoot, however. It takes a lot to to get to a finished photo or edit… from making sure everyone is fed, or has their board, drank any water in the last week, has a ride to the spot, or needs a ride to the hospital when they get broke-off, Nate does all that. And then he goes home and spends the rest of his night in front of a computer editing photos and video till the wee hours of the morning.

If he’s not out shooting our guys, chances are Nate’s playing tour guide to whatever Pros happen to be in town (and probably putting them up at his house), out skating with his crew or enjoying one of Denver’s finer saloons… and yes, you should definitely get him a shot of tequila🥃

If you’ve ever wondered where all those 303 graphics you fell in love with over the last 20 years came from… It’s this guy. But Sean does so much more than. He’s probably gripped your board or sold you a pair of shoes all while securing us a cop car to skate over at the first King of The Hill or hiring a band to play at last year’s Go Skate Day. Oh, yeah… the Van in the Annex? That was all Sean.

When he’s not designing graphics for decks and apparel, skate features, directing an edit, or flexing his self-taught interior design skills for the shops Sean is definitely out on an adventure. You’ll find him exploring the wilderness of Colorado with his wife Kate and dog Benji, skating one of our many skateparks or abroad traveling the world on some unique escapade.
