Baby Kaden Brooks Miller was born at 38 weeks and 4 days on 6/14/23.
Amazingly smooth delivery and 10 days in we are so over the moon in love. Mom and baby are healthy, happy and strong.
He is the sweetest, most calm baby ever. Perfect eater and sleeper. Just happy to be earth side finally and part of our family.
We feel very thankful that Luca has welcomed his little brother with open arms and a huge heart. We have all adjusted perfectly and are soaking up these sweet first moments together as a family of 5 (including our dog Koda. The first baby💙)

~A little bit about me~

I’m 38 years old. For so much of my adult life I was confused why I wasn’t “settling down”.

Why wasn’t the marriage and children happening for me like it was for so many of my friends when we were all in our 20’s.

On top of that, I am a trauma survivor. Of several different varieties. On an intense level.
I was emotionally and physically wounded so deeply I have done intense and deep therapy for over a decade…again, why?

I used to ask why me a lot in the beginning of my healing. Why the pain without the reward?

Eventually that question became; what am I learning from this right now?

And that’s when everything shifted.

The wounds became fuel. My reason to fight for me, for my dreams, for my happily ever after, whether that involved a family of my own or not. I would be happily ever after!

I moved to the one place that always felt healing (Boulder, CO). I ended up starting three business that felt like breathing and gave me life to my soul.
And I fell so madly in love with who I am and what my life was I completely forgot I ever wanted to be a wife or a mom.
I also completely forgave all of the trauma I had endured.

Did I forget? No. But I became thankful for the pain because it brought me to my healing, which brought me home to me.

It wasn’t until I was so full of love and light and passion and excitement for my life that I met my husband. Organically BTW, at an event. And here we are.
In 4 years we created magic. A wedding, a house, a dog, and our sweet son Luca. And we are just getting started! Not to mention how much better of a mom I get to be now! Holy wow! After all of that learning and growing. I feel like a super hero! I have so much to offer him! 🙏🏼🙌🏼🥰
