Recent prune job on some Russian Olive 🫒 Russian Olive is a shrub introduced to the United States in the early 1900s that became widely distributed due to its extensive use as an ornamental species in drier regions of the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains. Until the 1970s, Russian olive was one of a few commercially available medium-height trees used for dryland windbreaks and shelterbelts because of its ease of establishment and value for wildlife 🌳 A basic small tree with some interesting history!

We're wrapping up our spring planting season! Love, love, love seeing new baby trees getting planted to increase our tree canopy. We'll be back in the fall for more of it 🌳💚

With prime plant health care season upon us, we're pumped to have our new big rig out helping keep trees healthy. This truck can carry almost 1,200 gallons of water! We use it mostly for watering and soil injection of nutrients.

We took a Friday off a few weeks back to go over EHAP training and some climbing practice. Gotta take time to sharpen the skills and stay current on our Electrical Hazards Awareness Program. Electrical lines and hazards are super dangerous and staying current on proper safety precautions is essential!
