I just have to say thank you.

As we wrap up 2021, I just want to say thank you to all my clients who have supported me during the rollercoaster of the past almost 2 years.

There were many days that I was frustrated or upset and unsure about my future behind the chair. Your support means the world to me. My clients kept me going during such uncertainty and for that I am so grateful!

During 2020 shutdown, I lost a sense of purpose. I was stuck at home, told that I wasn't essential, and had no future to look forward to. When I was told I could reopen again, I was SO incredibly nervous to make all the phone calls. Of course everyone wanted in on day 1 (or so I thought) but I can only accommodate so many as one person.

I was astounded by the support I had from my clients. So many said "whenever, no rush" and respected me and my business. I even chatted with several of you for like 20 minutes on the phone. I think we all needed some company!

Since being back in the salon since COVID started, I have had so much support that my business has been booming! I am so thankful for my wonderful clients and all the referrals I have received in the last two years! The more business I receive, the more I am able to step up for you all!!

I am so thankful for my clients, my followers, my friends, and my family! You all keep me going! Let's have a great 2022!!!

Long haired girls -- when was the last time you had a trim?
Did you know that your hair will actually appear longer andhealthier if you trim it every 6-8 weeks?!

I know that feeling you get after it’s taken
so long to grow out in the first place! When you start to get a split end and if you don’t cut it off, that split end will end up splitting further up the hair shaft. What does that mean exactly? It means what was once a long and thick strand of hair, is now thinner and more fragile. Yikes!

Now think about taking a brush to that extremely fragile hair strand. It’s probably going to become more fragile and maybe it will just break off. This is only ONE strand of your long hair. Think about if this was every strand of your hair….

3. I'm a chocolate-aholic, however I have two sensitive teeth so I barely eat it. 😭

5. I'm obsessed with board games. One time when I was a kid, I had a friend over and wanted to play my favorite game, Pay Day, and I got in trouble because she was in tears not wanting to play and I forced her to finish the game! 😅 I could have a game night every night!!

I sure do!

Don’t get me wrong.. I love sexy summer blondes.. sultry winter shades, leading to the brightest of spring colors. There is just something about the spiciness of fall the lures me in.

If you're following my stories today, you know I am at America's Beauty Show in Rosemont, taking as many classes as I can!

and class this morning was the perfect start to the day! I have been looking up to Jacob for a few years now and I've seen him on stage a few times at prior ABS shows, but this is the first class of his I was able to attend!

While I've always enjoyed education in the industry, I've only paid for a handful of classes. I have learned that 1. Life's short.. if there are educations, musicians, or whatever else that you want to see or do.. DO IT. 2. Paid education is worth SO MUCH MORE than free education. Don't get me wrong.. I soak up as much free as I can.. but it does NOT have the same value!

I cannot wait to find out more info about future classes from Jacob that I can attend!

Has there ever been someone you looked up to but missed the opportunity to see them? Is there a way for you to make that happen now? DO IT.

Finally, this is it. The moment you've been waiting for.

New month, new goals!

September is here, and this month, I’m excited to take some classes! Our annual expo, Chicago's America's Beauty Show is finally here! 2020's expo was cancelled, and this year's was postponed until now, meaning I haven't been to the expo since April of 2019. 😳

This year I signed up to take FIVE classes while I'm there that include s**g and pixie cuts, bridal updos, Instagram reels, the ultimate client experience 🙌, and guest retention! I am so excited to implement all of this knowledge into my business and to serve all of you better.
