The Whole Life Challenge encourages you to start where you are. Make an improvement or two (or three or four) that are new. They might take a little energy (everything new does), but not so much that you have to rearrange your life around them.

Everyone who takes the Whole Life Challenge with this approach makes lasting changes and learns something new about themselves.

Some lose weight they’ve been trying to lose for a decade.

Some never drink soda again.

Some break a years-long habit of going to bed at 2:00 in the morning.

Some learn that slowing down and focusing on their well-being instead of dieting is the key they’ve been missing.

Some discover they actually like exercise; they just have never found their thing before.

Some connect with their family in a way that they never thought was possible.

Your health and well-being is about so much more than your weight. What you eat and how you move is only the beginning and only a small part of the picture.

Food, movement, sleep, peace of mind, awareness, and reflection are all ingredients in a formula that moves you forward like the current of a river. If you immerse yourself in it you often don’t even need to try to move. The current of the small changes just carries you onward.

The Fall Whole Life Challenge brings you this opportunity to continue on your journey. Try not to think of it as a mere 6-weeks. That would be a mistake. It’s a 6-week period of support and structure in an ongoing journey of transformation and discovery.

Me and 74 others are doing March into Spring. We're committed to walking every day for the month of March for either a minimum of 10 minutes OR a minimum of 1 mile.
Some days have been a breeze, especially when the sun is out and the sky is blue.
Other days? Let's just say they've tested us, but we've kept to our commitment to ourselves and are feeling the amazing benefits of walking outside daily.
This is a reminder to all that walking IS exercise, and it does "count." Get out there and walk!

I saw this question from James Clear today, and it stopped me in my tracks. It got me thinking, and I hope it can serve you too.

Let's be honest here, some years/situations require a "coast" to maintain mental/physical health. However, most years/situations could benefit greatly from using the last 30 days to end the year on a high note.

Only you know what's best for you. The idea is to make the choice consciously.

Here comes my favorite holiday of the year! Clients have been asking for some recipes, so I thought I'd see if I can help you too. Are you hoping to recreate a recipe? I'm happy to help.
That said, if you want to have the all-butter, all-cream, all-gluten, all-sugar version of that dish that just makes Thanksgiving feel like Thanksgiving, I say DO IT! These dishes hold so much nostalgia and love and come but once a year. Enjoy them, keeping in mind that often just a couple of bites might be all you need.

If you’ve ever tried to make veggie burgers from scratch you’ve likely experienced some duds! I know I sure have over the years.
But I finally found a a WINNER and love to share it.
THIS is my go-to recipe for black bean burgers. With the quinoa they are a great source of protein. I double the batch, wrap them individually and freeze them to enjoy all summer.
They are a bit labor intensive so here are my tips to make it easier:
-Double the recipe so you have them at the ready!
-Bake the sweet potatoes a day (or two or three) prior.
-Do the same for the quinoa or buy it frozen.
-Don’t sweat it if you don’t have every ingredient. You can make it your own by adding/subtracting
