Welcome PV2 Gardner!
NEW FACES OF KYARNG – PV2 Christian Gardner, 21, Bowling Green, KY, recently completed basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC and advanced individual training at Ft. Greg Addams, VA. He will be joining 1792nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 75th Troop Command, as a transportation management coordinator (88N).
According to Gardner, joining wasn’t just about the benefits.
“It really just wasn't just for the benefits,” Gardner said. “It was really just because I got tired of working nine to five. I wanted something different, a job that I wouldn't be bored doing.”
Gardner was influenced to join the Kentucky National Guard by his best friend who also joined.
He plans to attend the University of Kentucky where he will study music performance.
