Sorry for my absence in June. Many that know me, I love my Florida Panther Hockey. June was STANLEY CUP Playoffs and Finals. I am over the moon to report that we are the CHAMPIONS.

Yesterday I was a participant in the first STANLEY CUP PARADE in South Florida. There are no words to express the energy and excitement that we all felt. The rain and lighting might had detained the inevitable We all huddled together and supported one another. In the end we witnessed unity and family. People say that Hockey does not belong in South Florida. WE PROVED THEM WRONG, DIDN'T WE!

My blog might be a little different this month. I am still on cloud nine and probably will be for some time. I could not have gone thru this season without my family and hockey families support.

In life we experience emotions that bring us as high as the sky and as low as the dirt. For some, the struggle can be so challenging and difficult. Please remember, that there is 1 person that is there for you. It might be a stranger who asks you if you are ok. It could be a friend who takes you in, it can also be a team member, or a fan member who lifts you up when you feel down.

My motto is "to breathe", to allow yourself that moment to inhale and exhale and feel everything around you. We are not alone. You are not alone.

Happy Birthday America and everyone take in the day and enjoy this awesome month of July.

What an amazing last 10 days I have had. Spending time with friends and family. This last week I started some new adventures. To say I was not scared and nervous and excited all at the same time. Wow what a roller coaster ride of emotions. Trying to keep myself in check was hard at times. I took some quiet time to reflect and do something special for myself. In times of whirlwind, we easily forget to do that. I have said this before, stop and breathe and smell the air or flowers or cut grass etc. The simple things are free. They elicit a response from your memory that brings joy and releases endorphins and makes you happy, excited and energetic. Please, do this for yourself.

When this does not help, and you feel trapped and lost. Not sure where to go and hide inside. Please also know myself and others are here for you. Talking as challenging and difficult as it might be, is very healthy. Not easy by any stretch of the imagination, but healthy none the less. Pick up the phone, text or call or even email someone or me. Remember, YOU ARE IMPORTANT. YOU ARE SPECIAL.

We all have judged someone or multiple people because of how they looked, dressed, spoke…. In this day and age we need to support those we know and or don’t. We should not throw stones, be selfish or critical of one’s character. Life as we know it is evolving faster than we can say. Yesterday I asked that we all take 5 minutes to stop and breathe. Today I ask that we all take 5 minutes to stop judging. Allow each person to be themselves, faults and all. If you choose to walk away then do it quietly and respectfully. ❤️
