We'd like to introduce you to The Godfather of espresso martinis, the Carajillo Cubano.
The same caffeine kick as the popular cocktail but with a robust taste and a citrus twist. ☕️🍊

This crafty cocktail includes
, , coffee & orange zest infused rum, aztec chocolate bitters, espresso, and orange peel.

The origins of the carajillo are uncertain, but one popular story is that it originated in Spanish-occupied Cuba in the 19th century. The story goes that soldiers were said to add rum to their coffee to give them “coraje” (courage) and the name evolved to carajillo. Others say Cuban indentured workers were given the coffee/rum mix to get through the day.

Whether you need "coraje" to get through your day or your night 😉, the Carajillo Cubano is a new staple at 1864.

Introducing the Plenty Coups, our twist on the classic New York Sour that pays tribute to a true visionary.
This craft cocktail is a blend of 1800 Reposado, Bozal Ensembles Mezcal, lime juice, agave, habanero bitters, a malbec float, and egg white, creating a harmonious mix of flavors with a touch of heat.

Named after Alaxchíia Ahú, "many achievements," the principal chief of the Apsáalooke Nation (Crow), this drink pays tribute to a leader whose foresight and wisdom shaped his people's future. Chief Alaxchíia Ahú allied with settlers during the Westward Expansion, believing that cooperation would ensure the survival and prosperity of the Crow people. His vision and leadership guided the Apsáalooke through challenging times, preserving their customs and spiritual beliefs for future generations.

Is with the utmost respect that our team at 1864 named this drink after Plenty Coups. As advocates of Bozeman history, we aim to educate ourselves and honor the legacy of a remarkable leader and the rich history of the Apsáalooke Nation.
