Celebrating 111 years since the first ascent of Denali!

Join us in honoring this remarkable milestone by diving into the experiences of our very own Dustin English, VOORMI CXO and Alaska Mountaineering School (AMS) Guide, as he shares his unforgettable journey on Denali’s 100th anniversary. Dustin had the unique honor of guiding a team of six climbers, all direct descendants of the original team.

Here's a snippet from Dustin:
"This year on Denali was the 100-year anniversary for the first ascent of the mountain. I was fortunate enough to be one of the guides to go with a team of 6 climbers who were direct descendants of the original team.

We retraced the original route starting at Wonder Lake, hiking across the tundra to McGonagall Pass, then up the Muldrow Glacier to Karsten's Ridge. We then climbed Karsten's Ridge to gain the Harper Glacier. From the Harper, we went up to Denali Pass and joined the 'normal' (West Buttress route) to the summit. Once summiting, we retraced our route back down all the way to Wonder Lake. The trip took a total of 27 days."

Thank you to everyone who came out and took part in the 2024 Spring Gallatin Watershed Cleanup. Over 120 volunteers cleaned 12 sites in the Lower Gallatin Watershed, and 1,640 pounds of garbage was removed from rivers, parks, roadsides, and wetlands. After cleaning up, more than 80 people gathered at Bozeman Pond Pavilion to share stories and enjoy food, drinks, and prizes.

It's incredible to see what we can accomplish when we all come together. The Gallatin Watershed organizes two cleanups annually. If you missed the Spring cleanup, but are interested in participating in the Fall cleanup, stay tuned into

"Great fabric, great customer service, very happy repeat customer. To say I don't leave home without a River Run Hoodie is an understatement. From summer in the Sierras to Fall in Banff to Winter in Montana to Spring in Acadia it has performed well through it all. It breaths well and protects from UV light in the summer (even 100F). It is a great base layer when the weather turns cold (-15F). The hood is perfect in the summer to go over a wide-brimmed visor for sun protection and fits cozy under other hoods in the winter. Hood even pairs well with helmets (biking and climbing). The thumb holes are a huge upgrade on the newer version.
