Stories from the Gunroom: Our dear friend Bart Bauer passed earlier this year, but his memories and legacy lives on through our Powderhorn Gun Room. His father, Bob Bauer, an original WW2 Frogman, harvested this impressive Alaskan Grizzly with a pre-64 model 70 on a custom stock by Keith Hepburn. This beautiful rifle and trophy are proudly displayed in our Gun Room, alongside an old story published in our catalog when Bart Bauer and Jon Edwards revisted one of Bob's favorite hunting spots to spread his ashes.
