Happy Dance! The quilts are rolling in

It’s hard to believe that it is quilt week for the Suncoast Quilt Expo! The car is packed and we are ready to start receiving quilts. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for November 15 (9:00 - 2:30) thru November 16 (9:00 - 2:30). It’s going to be quite the show. —-AND—- Don’t forget that Mixon’s food truck will be providing the food. I can’t wait to have some their famous ice cream. Best Ice Cream on the West Coast!

The church is off of Lorraine Rd near the Publix on University.

I hope that all our Suncoast Quilters have weathered the storm. I am so thankful that the cooler weather has now come.

The Manatee Patchworkers guild is moving forward with our show at the Harvest United Methodist Church in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Even though we couldn’t hold our monthly meeting, we were able to collect quilt entries in the parking lot. I’ve had a sneak peak at the entries that we have some beautiful quilts coming.

We are so excited about the 2024 Opportunity quilt. This beauty was loving hand pieced with beautiful machine quilting. At the request of the Harvest United Methodist Church, we will not be able to sell tickets at the door. We are, however, offering the ability to enter to win this beautiful quilt via the QR code that is attached. Simply scan the QR code and follow the instructions. You will receive and email thanking you for your entry and we will add your tickets to the drawing. This quilt is stunning and will be a welcome addition to your collection.
