We ended last week on a high note as we wrapped up our work with the Second Heart Homes team!!
The organization is led by difference-maker Megan Howell who led us in an origami activity to create paper hearts in Results 1st blue. 💙
This team comprised of staff, Board members, and volunteers designed and activated their Results Framework over the past 4 months. The team is equipped with tools to increase gains for those they serve.

This week we kicked off our third year of the United Way Suncoast’s Results Team Program with 24 nonprofit organizations in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties!
Thanks to the investment of the United Way Suncoast, these participants will be equipped with tools to define, track, verify and communicate their results to increase success and raise more money.

We take it for granted. This shortfall arises in our efforts to price our engagements with nonprofits to value rather than hours. Organizations selecting consultants most often ask for proposals based on the time to produce a tangible “deliverable” such as a plan or recommendations. This favors the low-priced helper, who can make the document just as pretty and graphically appealing as the higher priced one....
