Celebrating 25 years on the Gulf Coast!

Today is Johnson PhotoImaging's 25th anniversary. We have had an amazing story. Started it up and then 4 ½ months later I retired from my 25 year general and pediatric surgery practice in Bradenton. We have continuously developed the store with one of the largest inventories in Florida, a great graphic arts department, a tremendous photo education department, and our very knowledgeable sales staff to make sure you get the products you are looking for. Thanks too all of our customers who have made it possible. I hope to find some of our original opening photos to post later today.

What a day! From the Everglades to the Oval Office, watching my dad, Clyde Butcher, receive the National Medal of Arts from President Biden was an experience we’ll never forget.

I asked my parents how they felt, but they were so overwhelmed by the honor that they couldn’t find the words. It’s hard to put into perspective—being recognized for a lifetime of capturing nature’s beauty and fighting to protect it.

Meeting the President and getting this award was both humbling and surreal for all of us. We’re beyond grateful for all the support along this journey.
