Attention passengers: Due to this weekend's Bradenton Area River Regatta, the Gulf Islands Ferry Service will not be available at our Bradenton Riverwalk location Friday. February 16th and Saturday, February 17th. However, service between the Anna Maria City Pier and Bridge Street Pier will continue as scheduled. Riverwalk service will resume Sunday, February 18th. Q: What days and times do you operate?
A: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., year round.

Q: How do I purchase tickets?
A: Visit GulfIslandsFerry.com and select a date and time that works best for your trip. Reserve those seats with a cashless options. Reservation passes will be delivered to your smartphone. Riders are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

Q: How much does it cost?
One-way tickets are $6.00 Adults (18+), $4.00 Active Military, $4.00 Seniors (60+), FREE (Seniors 80+), $4.00 Youth (4-18), FREE 3 and under.
Round-Trip tickets are $10.00 Adults (18+), $6.00 Active Military, $6.00 Seniors (60+), FREE Seniors (80+), $6.00 Youth (4-18), FREE 3 and under.

Q: Where do the ferries go? How long is the trip?
A: There are three stops: Bradenton Riverwalk, Anna Maria City Pier and Bridge Street Pier. The trips to or from Downtown Bradenton are ~50 minutes. The trips to and from the Anna Maria City Pier and Bridge Street Pier are ~30 minutes.

Q: Where do I park?
BRADENTON: Passengers catching the ferry in downtown Bradenton can park for free at the City Centre Parking Facility at 3rd Avenue West between 10th and 12th Streets.
ANNA MARIA ISLAND: Early birds will find spots along S. Bay Boulevard, at Bayfront Park, along Bridge Street and at Coquina Beach. We encourage passengers to use the free trolley, which will deliver passengers to the piers throughout the day.

Q: Are the ferries ADA accessible?
A: The ferry has wheelchair-accessible ramps, and designated seating areas that adhere to ADA standards.

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: Dogs are not allowed on Anna Maria or Bridge Street Piers. Our dog policy on the ferry is therefore only allowing pets for ADA/special needs purposes.

Q: Can I bring my beach gear on board? What about bikes?
A: Towels, picnic baskets, beach chairs and coolers are all allowed so you can get from the mainland to the Island with no fuss! U.S. Coast Guard regulations prevent bikes from being brought on board our ferries.

Q: What if my trip is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances?
A: Our team will do their best to alert you just as soon as possible should a trip need to be cancelled. We will contact you via the email and phone numbers you have left during your reservation process. In addition, you can always check the top of our website for the most current operational changes.
