Today marks another journey around the sun; a significant one at that. A reminder of the beauty in aging, a privilege not every one is given. This year has been one of profound self-discovery, growth, and surrendering to the flow of life—a testament to the power of embracing change. I’m learning to love every facet of who I am, finding completeness and inner peace within. I am defining success differently and am leaving behind a stage of hustle and overwhelm for a life of living and savoring. Grateful for the lessons of the past, I step forward into a new chapter with excitement and acceptance, ready to evolve and transform further. Here’s to closing out the old and welcoming the new with an open embrace. Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey and for all the birthday love. I am so grateful for you being here.

Meet Tracee with Design Studios of Sarasota. We had an amazing branding shoot in her recently completed home renovation project The White Elephant that has been well documented from start to finish on her YouTube page. Being that this was going to be Tracee & Grant’s personal home once completed, this project was a work of art, love, & beauty dear to their heart. Their story of purchasing the 1980’s home and modernizing it while correcting major construction issues is so super cool to watch on their YouTube channel; you feel like you are watching an HGTV tv show (hint hint HGTV, you might want to pick this show up lol). Tracee’s talent in home and commercial design is exceptional and it truly was an honor to photograph her within her beautiful dream home along with her furry babies who stole the show. 🖤

That’s a wrap!
In this space at least. I’m gonna hibernate for a lil while - that was a long weekend.

Moving Sale - Open House Sat January 20th 10-6

After an amazing 9 years at my beautiful studio, I will be saying goodbye to my commercial space at the end of this month. The building was recently purchased and the new owner has bigger plans that do not include me staying. I am looking for new location opportunities but plan to take a little sabbatical/hiatus for some creative and personal growth while I hunt for the great big next. I will still shoot on location in limited sessions.

We will host an Open House Moving Sale on Saturday, January 20th from 10am - 6pm selling off some studio props that include furniture, clothing, props etc. Hope you will stop by and say Hi. 606 Manatee Ave West 2nd floor - downtown Bradenton.

A great big Thank you to every single person who has walked into this space a stranger and left as a friend, those of you who allowed me to capture your light and essence, and to all who have shared their lives within this space. It truly has been a beautiful honor to serve you all.

I am excited to see where God leads me next.

Some of my most favorite images are spontaneous moments I see the light just fall so perfectly and someone falls deeply into being themself and is no longer aware I’m photographing them.
•
The irony is the location could be the most unplanned spot you wouldn’t even consider for a backdrop. Case point: First image was during our break in shooting when we sat in the cafe for a quick bite to eat. Second image was thru Jess’s salon glass window just after Hair & Makeup was freshly completed. Third and additional images were taken just outside the salon with gorgeous morning light and beautiful depth of field in the landscape. I love when instinct kicks in and we shoot in a spot that was not on the agenda. It is typically magical. 🖤

What do you dream of? What do you want most in life??

Or even what do you want small but haven’t given yourself permission to ask the universe for???

I have always been a dreamer. I thought everyone was… and I also thought my dreams weren’t meant to come true but just tease me… until they started to come true. And then I realized, I wasn’t dreaming big enough. I was thinking small. It’s time to dream bigger… it’s time to allow yourself the permission, the vision, and the bravery to go Big with your Dreams.

Then write them down… because it’s only a dream until you write it down, and then it becomes a Goal.
