Good Morning Friends.

Starting May 1st we will be switching to our summer hours.
Mon-Saturday 5:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M
Sunday 5:00 A.M to 8:30 P.M

Fishing opener weekend we will be open Friday at 5:00 A.M to Saturday Night at 10:00 P.M..... yes you read that right Friday we will be open 24Hrs!!! Sunday we will resume regular hours.

We are getting ready to see all your smiling faces... tackle is coming in.. minnows are starting to come in... we are itching for some fishing like everyone else.

Poppy is still in his napping mood to prepare to greet everyone on opener weekend!

The weekend is here.... Santa decided to stay a little longer.

We are stocked up and ready to see your smiling faces.

We have EXTRAVAGANZA tickets, raffles and the catch of the day stickers.

We have plenty of minnows, wax worms, and EURO larva.

Our hours for the weekend are....
Friday February 2nd - 5:30 AM- Midnight
Saturday Feb 3rd - 4:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Here is our hours for the weekend... we are getting stocked up with bait and tackle.

This is an odd year for ice, but we are so happy the Jaycees did everything they could to make this happen.

We still have tickets, raffles and the catch of the day stickers.

We are finding stuff out just like everyone else so please be patient with us cause we are in the same boat as you with finding out all the information.

The S and W bait family is mourning the loss of a life long friend, trapper and fishermen Tim Clark. We want to send his family our condolences and love in this hard time. He will be missed by us and everyone who knew him!!

Hello friends….

Few updates….

We are starting our summer hours starting today, we will be opening at 5:00 a.m!

We decided this year that Friday May 12th we will be open 24 hrs, which means we open May 12th at 5:00 A.M and don’t close until 10 p.m on May 13th!

We are slowly starting to get some minnows in
We have crappies, Fatheads, shiners and rainbows

Plenty of NC and Waxworms too!

We can’t wait to see everyone next week! Hope the weather is beautiful and people are smiling!!

Poppy says I got my summer hair cut and I'm looking so fresh and cute so I’m ready to see everyone for opener!!

We are sad the walleye fishing season is over around the BLA…. But we do still have a full selection of bait if you are headed north to lake of the woods.

Suckers, crappie minnows, fatheads, rainbows and shiners

Nice rainbows and shiners if you are headed for some pout fishing!

Don’t forget we also have wax worms and euro larvae as well!

Fishing license do expire Feb 28th at midnight and the new 2023 license start! So don’t forget to get your new fishing licenses!

Now we start the countdown for some open water fishing!!

All live bait must be less that 4 inches in length.
We DO NOT sell bait on the ice!

Let us mention, history shows that hotdogs, roast beef and many more things have been used to catch a leader board fish...

Don't forget you need a fishing license for the tournament!

We do have a DNR license machine in the shop!

Anyone 16 and older needs one!
(If you are getting one for the first time a social security number is required)

Our season fishing licenses are good thru March 1st, if you have one you are set, if you lost it you can get a duplicate printed.

Pro Tip

You are required to have a current Minnesota fishing license to participate in the Extravaganza. We DO NOT sell licenses at the event. Be sure to stop at Fleet Farm or a local bait shop, or even a convenience store to purchase one.

A 24-hour MN fishing license is only $14.00- a small price to pay to win some incredible prizes!
