Dried results from my metallic paintings this weekend. All eight turned out amazing! The shimmer is so pretty with all the metallic colors, which you can’t see in these photos. With fall coming up, I think I’ll have to make a few more. Some of these will be offered for sale, so message me or keep watch if interested.

Continuing with yesterday’s metallic color palette. This one is a 20x20 with lots of flow and movement. That champagne color is a staple for me and used in many of my fluid art paintings. Still wet, so anything can happen as it dries.

Had an idea pop into my head while working on a piece for someone. The intent was mountains and sky. Well, not quite how I envisioned it, but I still love it. This is a 16”x 20” piece and I absolutely love it! I’ll try the landscape next time. (Still wet, so anything can happen-hopefully all bugs stay away.)

Did a test piece for a special request painting. Definitely not close to what I was hoping for, because the initial piece was from when I was a beginner, but so pretty! This one is wet, so anything can happen during the drying process. This gem is an 8x8 in size and full of movement and color. Look at the metallic champagne cells (the adorable bubbles) that showed up! So in love! Lesson learned:write down the colors used in each piece and how you did it! 😉. What do ya’ll think if this piece? I welcome all constructive criticism.

After a few weeks off, finally back to painting. This tiny 4x4 (still wet in this photo) is such a cutie! Kind of hard to paint using this technique on such a small surface!

Today was definitely a learning day! One lone wind gust damaged a few paintings and broke an ornament, but could have been worse. I met so many great people and several artists that do similar art. It was so fun to have people share with me what they do, and encourage me to keep doing what I do. Can’t wait for Saturday to do it all again!

Getting ready for the art/craft show June 14-16th at the Green Lantern in Brainerd. This is only about one-third of the items I’ll have available. Artisan Rachel will have a few of her gorgeous items as well. Be sure to stop by. Friday and Saturday 9-5, Sunday 9-3.

I’m probably best known for my sunflower paintings. Started this 20x20 today. Hope it dries as beautifully as I think it will. Now what do I do with the center this time? 🤔
