Arise Connections
Virtual psychotherapy practice serving all of Florida. ABOUT ME:
Hi, I'm Hector, psychotherapist & certified life coach!
I provide psychotherapy virtually throughout the states of Florida, Texas, & Virginia. I’m physically based in the Tampa Bay Area. I specialize in working with males who struggle with depression, imposter syndrome & trauma.
As the son of Salvadorean immigrant parents, I’ve seen how cultural stigma keeps men from seeking help. Its why some people act like everything is ok, play tough & suffer in
Mental health is just as important as physical health. Don't be afraid to talk about it. Follow us to learn more.
From hushing it up to opening up. Let's be the generation that changes the conversation around mental health. How do you deal with mental health stigma from loved ones? Comment below.
Immigrant stories are stories of resilience. Let's be allies, advocates, and friends to those on this incredible journey. This is why its important that we be empathetic with people who have suffered trauma in their home countries. If you're looking for a therapist that empathizes with immigrants, reach out to us. Dismantling Toxic Masculinity: A Path to Positive Change
We live in a world where traditional gender norms and expectations have often imposed limitations on both men and women. It's high time we challenge these stereotypes and foster healthier, more inclusive notions of masculinity.
🚧 Toxic masculinity can harm everyone involved. It perpetuates rigid ideas of what it means to be a man, suppressing emotions, and encouraging destructive behaviors. But we can rewrite this narrative together.
🔗 It's time to take action. Share this post to raise awareness and start a dialogue about the importance of deconstructing toxic masculinity.
Let's encourage men and boys to be their authentic selves, free from harmful stereotypes and expectations.
To everyone reading this, remember that we all have a role to play in creating a more inclusive and accepting world. Let's work together to break down the walls of toxic masculinity and build a society where everyone can thrive, regardless of their gender. 💚✊
In a world that often emphasizes strength and stoicism, it's time to shine a light on the unspoken truth: Men's mental health matters too.
🧠 Did you know that men are less likely to seek help for mental health issues compared to women?
📊 According to statistics, they are more prone to underreporting their struggles, and this silence can have profound consequences on their well-being.
But here's the thing: Real strength lies in vulnerability, and asking for help is a sign of courage, not weakness.
Let's change the narrative. Let's encourage open conversations, support, and understanding.
If you're a man, remember that your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Don't hesitate to reach out to friends, family, or professionals when you need to. You're not alone in this journey. 🤝
And if you're a friend, partner, or family member, take the time to listen without judgment, offer a helping hand, and let the men in your life know that you're there for them. 💙
Let's break the silence, challenge the stigma, and build a world where everyone's mental health is a priority.
Together, we can make a difference.

As we come to enter a new month, we turn our focus towards an issue that deserves our utmost attention - su***de awareness and prevention. 💛
Yes! you're right, su***de awareness prevention month was last month. But this is something that needs to be talked about year round!
Why it matters: Every 40 seconds, someone loses their life to su***de. It's a global health crisis, but it's preventable with the right support, awareness, and care.
💪 What we can do:
Educate Ourselves: Learn the signs and risk factors of su***de.
Start Conversations: Talk openly about mental health and check in on loved ones.
Support Mental Health Services: Advocate for accessible and affordable mental health care.
Be Kind: Small acts of kindness can make a big difference to someone struggling.
Together, we can make a change: By coming together as a community, we can break the stigma, provide support, and ultimately save lives.

I recently had the chance to reconnect with my culture in El Salvador. For those who don’t know many Salvadorean’s left the country in the 80s due to civil war. It’s the reason why my parents left the country. Following the war the country struggled with gang violence & came to be the murder capital of the world. Currently El Salvador has now gone over 100 days without a single homicide. Now the country has a new leadership that has given people hope. El Salvador has lots to see, & definitely worth checking out. Grateful I got to spend time with family & reconnect with my country.
