Bo Agnew for Justice Court Judge District 2

g Mississippians all over this great State for over sixty years and it is still going strong today. Bo additionally serves as the Judge Pro Tem for the Terry Municipal Court, Terry, Mississippi and he has been the prosecutor for the City of Raymond, Municipal Court since 2017. Bo has prosecuted hundreds of misdemeanor cases and likewise defended hundreds of individual clients in criminal matters of all sorts ranging from traffic violations to capitol murder. Bo has also handled hundreds upon hundreds of civil matters and he has successfully defended appeals to the Mississippi Supreme Court and the Mississippi Court of Appeals. Bo is undoubtedly most experienced in criminal and civil law and legal procedure but more importantly Bo is a family man and community leader with a servant's heart. Bo is most proud to say that he is a Father, a Husband, a son, a softball coach, a baseball coach, a football coach, a neighbor and a friend to our community. Bo believes that while professional experience is certainly important, certain qualities are even more important. Bo believes that humility, temperament and a desire to serve your community in a Godly manner are the key components that make any Judge great; however, this is especially true for a Justice Court Judge because the people that most often find themselves in a Justice Court are not people just passing through our community, they are members of our community, they are our friends, our neighbors, and our family members, all of whom have some sort of criminal or civil legal problem. This basically requires a Justice Court Judge to be a problem solver for the community. Oftentimes solving these community problems will require the issuance of serious penalties and consequences; and other times, solving these community problems may simply require lifting up a person and directing them to the help they need. Regardless of the particular problem or solution, a great Justice Court Judge will always see themselves as a problem solver for his or her community. Bo sees himself as a problem solver and if elected he will diligently seek to serve our community with a Godly humility and temperament that will have a positive effect on both our community and our court system. We humbly ask that you help us put Bo on the Bench on August 6th.
