On June 9th at 4 pm, as part of the Music for A Sunday Afternoon Series, The Stony Creek Singers will perform Alleluia by Mozart and That Music Always Round Me by Frank Vasi, which celebrates the greatness of music to express the human experience. The free concert is at Stony Creek Congregational Church and post-concert refreshments will be enjoyed by all.

About Pine Orchard
Founded as a borough in 1838, Pine Orchard is a unique waterfront community situated between Indian Neck and Stony Creek in Branford, CT. Developed originally as a resort community in the 19th century, it was coined “World’s End” as it was accessible by trolley from New Haven beginning in 1907 and was the second to last stop on the line – Stony Creek being the last. In that era, summer weekend visitors frequented hotels, private cottages and estates to enjoy the natural beauty and shore breezes. The Pine Orchard Association was Incorporated by the State of Connecticut June 19, 1903.
