Being named a Paul Harris Fellow is a high internal honor in Rotary, but every now and then, Branford Rotary awards a Paul Harris to a community member who embodies Rotary’s “Service Above Self” attitude. Trista Milici, longtime clerk of the Selectman’s office, is exactly that kind of person. At a ceremony this week, Trista was named a Paul Harris Fellow.

In the words of the Paul Harris awards committee:

“Hired in September, 1995 when she was 24 years old by First Selectwoman Judy Gott, Trista has served six Democratic and Republican administrations. She been the Town's “First Impression” for almost three decades, as hers is the first voice heard on the phone, or the first face seen by most folks coming to Town Hall. Over the years she has helped thousands of Branford residents get answers to their questions and helped direct them to the right person to solve their problems, big or small. She loves her job and she loves to help people and is in a unique position to do just that as she is Branford Town Hall's institutional memory.”

Branford Rotary Braffle Winner: 'I Couldn’t Believe It. Still Can't.' He thought the text was a hoax. It wasn't. He won $5K in $100 gift cards to 50 restaurants. Braffle raised $50K for BCCS' Basic Needs Fund.
