Congratulations to Leo Calonico on being passed to the degree of Fellowcraft.

09/02/2024

Leo is a EA brother of the lodge and while this is not a lodge event I would like to share a personal event/cause that he is involved with.

We are excited to announce that we are back for our 3rd year, this year will be our most gore filled season yet! Come on down and experience the thrills and scares of our beloved butcher shop and experience meats that you will die for. As always we are accepting donations of non-perishable foods for East Haven Food Pantry because the real monsters are those that don’t help others in need.

Milford Demolay. Must be late 40's. Can you find Dad in the picture? What a lineage. Howard Cole, David Cole, Frank Cole, Jonathan Cole and finally Ryan Rappaport.

Widow’s Sons 5th annual Thimble Island Cruise. Traditionally if it’s not raining, or heavy fog then it is not truly our event. Fortunately the weather was true and it rained. 😂. A true mark of the friendship and fellowship of our lodge is everyone enjoyed a great time. The boat was at capacity. More than enough food (pot luck of course) was available. Feed a Mason and they will come.

When the location for the Branford's Middle School Girls Field Hockey Team (Walsh Intermediate) banquet fell through, YOUR lodge stepped forward and we DONATED the use of the lodge hall. In attendance was Head Coach Kristen Liguori and Asst Coach Rudy Gosteli with 28 team members and 34 parents. Thank you to Junior Warden Randy Frazier for making this happen and allowing our lodge to continue to support Youth Sports In Branford. I am sure the girls and their families were appreciative.

Brothers, it is your support of our lodge that allows us to benefit the community. Charity is a universal characteristic of masonry. It has been said that "the Masonic Way is to give without remembering and to receive without forgetting."

Now onto our next major event, Toys For Tots, which we will kick off on November 15th until December 6th. All Toys collected will remain in New Haven and Middlesex Counties. We will have collection boxes in the hall for new unwrapped toys. Also prior to each meeting a Silent Auction will be stu at the Pool Table with prizes donated from local businesses. All funds raised will go to purchasing Additional Toys.
