✅️A Deep Cleansing: Starting with the interior, give countertops, cabinets, baseboards and flooring/carpets a deep cleaning. Carpets are especially important. Find the nearest grocery store or home improvement store to rent a carpet cleaner. Clean, fresh smelling carpet is a must! A stained, musty smelling carpet can quickly turn off potential homebuyers.

✅️Paint Paint Paint: Painting your interior results in a 107% ROI. That's right, slap a fresh coat of paint on those interior walls. This is probably one of the most effective and yet simple things homeowners can do to make their home look and feel new. Keep in mind, stick to neutral colors as these colors are known to be pleasing to most homebuyers.

✅️Update Them Cabinets: The kitchen is a big highlight of a home!! It is one of the most used areas in a home as it is used for gathering and cooking. Since homeowners tend to spend a lot of their time in the kitchen, why not showcase it by giving that bad boy an instant facelift!! Change dark colors to light neutral colors that open up a room and create space. Also, try following new trends by using contrasting colors on upper and lower cabinets.

✅️Upgrade Outlets and Fixtures: Upgrade any two prong outlets to three prong outlets. Possibly even add USB connections as USB outlets are commonly used nowadays. Update lights switches, doorknobs and cabinetry knobs/handles. Spruce up the kitchen and bath by installing new faucets.

✅️Lawn Care: mow, w**d, edge, trim and groom. Having a groomed lawn is a sure way to elevate curb appeal.

✅️More Paint: Slap a fresh coat of paint on your front door and shutters. This leads to a better curb appeal and leads to a 55% ROI. Remember, when choosing paint colors, Homebuyers tend to gravitate towards neutral colors.
