The young lady on the left has been a part of JCLC since she was 9 years old. She is now 18 years old!

As a Senior in High School and committed follower of Jesus, she is serving with the JCLC Team as a Student Leader at the 4-5th Grade Team Nights.

Praise God for His faithfulness in her life!

The new Lutheran West outdoor courtyard has been a sweet spot for Pastor Jerry to meet with teen guys one-on-one for mentoring and discipleship.

This young man is newer to JCLC but has been committed to meeting with Pastor Jerry over the past two years. His two younger siblings are also a part of JCLC.

A few of our wonderful male 'Mentor Leaders' who serve with us and build relationships with the kids.

Godly male leaders are needed to build into our young men AND our young women.

Our monthly Open Gym for 8th-12th graders is a time for Pastor Jerry to connect with the guys in a more laid back environment, building on their love for competing and messing around with a basketball 🏀

We had a great time with the 4-5th graders last week at Team Night. We ate together, played together and learned from Pastor Jerry 🎉❤️

Did you know there is a JCLC room in Memorial LMS ?!

We get to use this room for JCLC small groups, as well as for Amy to do counseling with specific students who are in need of some extra one-on-one time and support.

We are so grateful for our continued partnership with LMS and their willingness to invite us into their space 🫶

Fall is upon us and the JCLC Apprentices are heading back to school. The new school year has opened up a new opportunity for Pastor Jerry as the chaplain of the Lutheran West High School Football Team. Spending time with the boys during practices, team meetings, games and in the weight room is allowing him to engage in valuable conversations about God and his impact on all aspects of their lives. He is working to build a leadership team of young men to challenge and set the pace for the rest of the team.

Please pray for all of the JCLC Apprentices as they head back to school. They could be the first ones in their families to not only graduate from high school, but to go on to live lives built on the foundation of Christ. Thank you for supporting the work of JCLC in the lives of unfathered and at risk boys and girls and their moms!
