It's a competitive real estate market and add to that, a ROLLERCOASTER RATE ENVIRONMENT. The downward slope is not "raise your arms and say woohoo", but it does make you lose your stomach. As mortgage bond prices drop, interest rates increase. (red=bad) Where are you getting your advice to lock your rate?
