An ofrenda is an altar or display of offerings that is set up in homes during the Mexican holiday of Día de los Mu***os, or Day of the Dead. The word "ofrenda" is Spanish for "offering". Please bring any contributions that you'd like to display on the ofrenda to Mrs. Cotcher in room 20. Ideas would be copies of pictures of loved ones who've passed, flowers, and other items that signify love.

Today, October 17th, is The Great American Shake Out. Millions of people will participate and it helps you become better prepared to survive and recover from a big earthquake. “Why is “drop, cover and hold on” important to practice? You may only have seconds to protect yourself in an earthquake before strong shaking knocks you down or something falls on you. Practicing helps you be ready to react”. Stay tuned for more details in Advisory today.
