Our dedicated volunteers making fruit baskets to send to our clients for Christmas. They will also be receiving ornaments handmade by the students at The Tillotson school. Making the holidays a little brighter!!

Our little Santa's helper is at it again. Gia raised $400 to make sure the folks we serve will be warm this winter. Some of the blankets were donated also.

One of our own Meals on Wheels volunteers celebrates her 90th birthday! Everyone wish Shirley a Happy Birthday!!

Gia and her Easter gifts! And a few happy customers!

As you may have been following, Gia had come on other days with her gifts and sure enough she and her mom appeared in time for St. Patrick's Day and plans to have a gift ready before Easter.

As our volunteers who deliver our meals can attest, her gifts have brought a smile to the faces of everyone who receives them. Some of our clients have little contact with others on a daily basis and something so simple can brighten their world for days.

Her mom told us that Gia had decided herself on this mission and asked for mom's help in shopping for the materials she needs to make the greetings she creates. An additional feature of her project is that she does separate fundraising to pay for the materials.

At such a young age the compassion she has shown for others is heartwarming and, I think, truly amazing.

10 year old Gia is at it again. Her homemade Valentine's Day treats are sure to bring a smile to the faces of those we serve. It's not the first time her creative spirit has brightened their day. Last Easter she made goodybags for our clients and has plans to repeat that gesture for Easter this year. Her mom says that she comes up with the ideas on her own and mom helps to make it happen.

January’s recipient of the “Council Giveback Fund” is Brentwood Meals on Wheels. Director Betty Niziol accepted the check from councilman Mike Foyle. Brentwood Girl Scouts helping us out in a big way! These beautiful Valentines were made by the Girls to deliver to our seniors. We couldn't be more grateful to pass on these lovely gifts. THANK YOU BRENTWOOD GIRL SCOUTS!!

The Tillotson School Students are at it again! This time making beautiful Christmas ornaments for our seniors. What a great way to brighten their spirits this Christmas Season!!

A big thanks to the Tillotson School Students! A group of students join us every week to help with packing meals. Recently, they held their own Coffee Club Fundraiser and donated all of the proceeds to Meals on Wheels Brentwood. We are so grateful for their continued support of Meals on Wheels!! Thank you!!

We want to extend a huge thank you to Giavonna B. for making these amazing Easter gift bags for our clients. She fundraises on her own to make these bags for the local elderly not just at Meals on Wheels, but also for those at the VA and nursing homes. We are so grateful for her selflessness and setting a great example for the community!

Please be advised if we receive the snow they are calling for my volunteers ( who are around 75 years young) won’t be able to drive or deliver. If you have an elderly neighbor please check on them.
