A Day of Self-examination

"Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves [by an ongoing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test
and are rejected as counterfeit?" (2 Cor. 13:5 AMP).

Beloved of God,
Today is the first Wednesday of the month. It’s a day of inward soul-searching to determine whether the truth is truly permeating our minds, thoughts and actions.

Pray like David, "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts"(Ps. 139:23 NLT).

Soul-searching is a personal matter. It’s a time of solitude. You need a quiet place, your Bible, and the Holy Spirit, who indwells you.

The Reward of Faithfulness. Daniel 1:9-21

Faithfulness has enormous rewards today, tomorrow, and in the eternity continuum. God in His infinite wisdom, grace, and power is under obligation to reward those who are faithful to Him in every way.
Beloved of God,

I can’t say it enough: Lack of knowledge has caused many Christians to be confused, unproductive, and stagnant in their spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.

Where is the origin of faith?

“Those who honor Me I will honor” (1 Sam. 1:30).

Daniel was acutely aware of first Samuel chapter 2:30, and he would put God to the test of His promise.

Are you willing to say to God, “Remember now, O Lord, I beseech Thee, how I have walked with Thee in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Thy sight” (Isaiah 38:3).
Sin keeps the believer from being bold in humility before God, and lack of spiritual life keeps the individual away from His throne room.
