Today I celebrate a day I never thought I'd see, yet anticipated fully.
Today, my business turns 2! We survived and thrived for two years in a volatile economy, a pandemic, while homeschooling my two toddlers, and now I'm coming for what's mine!
I wasn't sure how I wanted to celebrate today. Social media says: an elaborate photo shoot? Vacation? Giveaway? Sale? Nah. None of it felt right...
In full transparency, I want to do nothing. As an entrepreneur, I work from the moment I open my eyes to the second I fall asleep. They're no vacations!

Today I'm working with my Root Chakra. Maintenance is key to keep the wheels off energy free flowing...

The Muladhara (Root) Chakra is at the base of the energy system and keeps us connected to the earth energy. The Root chakra is our connection to the physical plane and relates to our sense of stability and security on the earth.

It is often associated with the planet Saturn, also named after the Roman God ‘Saturn’, or ‘Cronus’, the equivalent in Greek Mythology. Saturn is known as the Planet of ‘Karma’ and ‘Time’ and represents energy, vigor, protection, and self-discipline.

An imbalanced root chakra causes feelings of disconnection, it's important to focus on your self-limiting beliefs and begin to heal those. What fearful beliefs might you be holding that aren't serving you and continue to make you feel unsafe?

Sometimes it's not as easy to self start, stay on task, or balance the many roles you may be fulfilling. You've got this, even if it doesn't feel like you do right now.
Now is a great time to reach out to your support system, you don't have to do everything on your own. Healing can be very isolating, but it doesn't have to be 💚

I've always considered myself an advocate for women. But once I became a mother, I was introduced to a whole new group of women in need of support. Pregnant women and new mothers hardly have all the resources they need to transition into their new lives and roles. I became a doula, specializing in ante-partum, birth, and post-partum services to help empower women by providing knowledge and preparing them for their futures.
