Wish I could give zero stars but I felt this place deserved some sort of review based on their lack of judgment in their most recent poor attempt at cute humor. If you enjoy body shaming and lack of empathy towards you or anyone you know this is your place. I’m all for cutthroat comedy but this is a place of business in which you provide to your community. Your blatant disregard towards peoples feelings is obvious in your actions of deleting my comment and blocking me on social media. Your sign is a cowardly act and if you feel as your sign states come say it to someone’s face and see how much hurt you cause. Walk up to someone and say “you’re too big to wear those shorts.” Or “That swimsuit would look better if you were thinner”. Cause that is EXACTLY what your sign is implying!

Wednesday's Special...Stuffed Chicken Breast served with Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans & Gravy.

Speciale Martedì... Piatto italiano: conchiglie ripiene, polpette, ravioli di carne e formaggio e pane. Translation- Tuesday's Special Italian Platter: stuffed shells, meatballs, meat & cheese ravioli and bread.

As of 2:48 pm WE HAVE POWER....but still no phone lines. Those of you following us know that we lost power last night when the storms rolled through just before 8 pm. A pole fell across McLaughlin Run along with a huge transformer and a ka-zillion live wires. I made several trips to the deli in the middle of the night, but was not allowed to enter the building due to the downed lines. On one of my trips, I was talking to a few of the guys from our WONDERFUL BRIDGEVILLE VFD...what would we do without them? One of them reminded me of our last middle of the night rendezvous at PJ's....it was a few years back when one of the floods hit and they were launching rescue rafts out of the deli's parking lot. Boy.... if that lot could talk.... Finally, at 11 am this morning, we were permitted to enter. Of course our coolers were out of temperature range and all refrigerated food had to be discarded. As the clock ticked, our frozen foods began to thawed and I made the decision to discard all perishable frozen foods, yes.....all of our homemade frozen entrees and soups.....gone. I called our dumpster company and they sent a truck out to empty our container(everyone in B-ville would have been able to smell it by Saturday). A costly day......YES it was, but I would never take a chance in selling anything. We will be open Tuesday and hopefully, we will start prepping soups and frozen entrees, please be patient with us as we restock.... it is going to take us several days. Oh and those of you who were upset that you missed Polish Platter day.....time permitting....we will run that special again soon. Thank you all for your kind words, and blessings. We are all safe and our building is safe. Thank you kindly for your support over the years. PJ

CLOSED THURSDAY.......we will be busy emptying our coolers/freezers into our dumpster as we have been without power for the past 12 hours with no approximate restoration time available. Will keep you posted....
