Tremonton Farmers Market every first Saturday of the month 10-2!

I know there are many analogies out there for hiking. I’d like to share 2 of mine from today:)

🥾First one, I noticed in hiking, I focus majority of the time less than 3 feet in front of me. I want to make sure the footing is good and I don’t trip on something. The whole time, especially if it’s a hike I’ve been on before, I know the end destination. But I’m not looking that far. Only what’s right in front of me. Today I compared that to acting on the present moment. In life, I tend to know what my goal is and stay focused so far ahead of myself that I miss moments in present time. I can get stuck in the “how” of getting to the goal, and sometimes it just seems to hard! Today, I was getting tired, and I thought I had another 20 minutes to go. And I was heavily talking positive to myself that I was going to make it just fine! And suddenly, I realized I was at my goal! Like seriously within a minute! I had hiked further than I thought in a shorter amount of time. Being present! Only worrying about where my foot was going, one step at a time.
This year, I am focusing on being more present. Listening in the moment, being more quiet. “Doing” less. I am enjoying my journey ❤️

💗Next analogy: I took Dani (my dog) with me and it made it a little harder (I know he’s only 12 pounds, but it made a difference!). I wanted to make it up as quick as I could with little stopping. I didn’t know how Dani would do, this is his first hike I’ve taken him on. So I carried him a lot:) but I found when I set him down, he figured out how to get up the rocks pretty well! Sometimes he followed my path, and sometimes he took his own. And you know what? We made it up just fine! You know, in life, I think I’ve done this to family and friends. Thinking I had to carry more weight than necessary. My intentions are good, I’m looking out for the other person because I love them. But am I taking away potential growth opportunities for them? Wow! Sometimes good intentions are not the best path to take!
To my family and friends…I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you 🙏 ❤️

When a soul decides it is ready to carnage or reincarnate to the earth plain, it meets with these guides, some of whom have been with them for many lifetimes and some new guides as well. The other group is a council of our elders or master teachers, who help with the process of achieving what our new lessons will be in this earthly time, and how to assist the soul with its transition to the earth plain.

It’s hard to imagine that we choose the life we are currently in, but that’s the way it works. You chose your parents, siblings, and the circumstances that create your world now. If you look at each adventure or mishap that has happened in your life, you can take on a new outlook. Ask yourself how you can handle each situation in a loving way, knowing there is a lesson to be learned and you did indeed choose to learn it.

Enjoy life and find the joy that is ours. Let go of hurts, anger slowly, and laugh a lot. Earth is just our schoolroom, not where we will live forever.
