Poppies may not last long enough to put in our bouquets, but the pollinators sure do love 'em! #flowers #pollinators #gardening #localflowers

My sister's porch is a great place to wait out the rain, especially when her gorgeous roses are in bloom <3

Thanks to Jason Green for taking time away from the gym and firing up Pappow's old tractor. We're closer to having more space for all the beautiful flowers we plan to grow this year! (Given the heavy clay content of soil, this and a till makes it so much easier to form and amend permanent mounded beds without exacerbating the old hardpan so we can minimize soil disturbance going forward.)

We're dreaming of berry season over here, how about y'all? Watch out for those seeds! 🤣

Oops - turns out that box of tubers sitting the propagation room was actually full of our lisianthus plugs 🥴 ADHD tax strikes again 😅 wish us luck we can turn these infamously difficult-to-grow plants into something beautiful in spite of my neglect #lisianthus #cutflowers #flowerfarming #adhd

This heat is giving us, our plants, and the animals a beating this week, so we will NOT be at the market Saturday, August 26th. If you need tomatoes, shoot us a message to order and arrange for pickup.

Farm cats - not great at following directions, but too cute to do anything about it

The crew today isn't very talkative, but we will take all the help we can get!

Sometimes, progress feels like this. Even a snail can cover a lot of ground - just keep moving and shaking! #discipline is better than #motivation #progressisprogress

Can you tell we are excited about our new baby chicks?

Thor Mountain will be at the Abingdon Farmer's Market tomorrow 8-12; we will be enjoying this gorgeous weather in the meantime! (The Kentucky bluegrass likes the weather, too, haha!)
