A statement from our owner, Lydia:

“I am heartbroken to share that my fiancé, best friend, soulmate, partner in donut-making, and love of my life passed away after an awful battle of cancer on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024. While my heart is shattered, I know that John is watching over me, our operation and our dream that we shared for Duck Donuts. I will never have the right words to make this statement. We will be open Monday, May 6th under the operation of other Duck Donuts franchise owners. We will be closed Tuesday, May 7th for his celebration of life. Monday and Tuesday will be honored as days of grievance for the staff of Duck Donuts. While I know that John would want me to move forward, I will be taking some personal time for my own grief journey. Please, if you have any questions ask for Megan, our store manager. Thank you for your continued support for our store here in Bristol.”
