Yes, Silver Threads Country Catering will be back at the Johnson City Farmers Market this year. Our first day is Saturday , May 4 from 8:00 to 1:00. We'll have some new Gluten free products and some new cakes and breads that aren't Gluten free. Come check us out. We're looking forward to seeing you all.

Joe and I will be back at the Johnson City Farmers market Saturday the 28th for the final market day of the season. If you want a specific cake or breads please call or message me by the 25th so I can have it for you this Saturday. We're looking forward to seeing everyone.

I will also take Holiday orders for Thanksgiving & Christmas.You may pick up at my home or meet at Market Pavilion at a time convenient for you & me. If we have multable orders for the same day in JC we will also deliver to your home as long as it's not too far out of the way. We do come from Bristol near South Holston Lake.

Well, we came to setup and between the rain and wind everything was getting soaked including us. We decided to pack up and go home. Hopefully next week will be better. Sorry about that but Janice has been sick and was afraid this would make her sicker. We'll be selling from the house today.

No fooling we'll be at the Johnson City's Farmer market on Saturday . Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Johnson City's Farmer market will open for the season May 7 from 8:00-1:00. We'll be out of town the first Saturday but will be setting up May 14. We're looking forward to seeing everyone again.

I regret to inform you that due to several issues I will no longer provide catering services. I have gone back to strictly baked goods and desserts which is my first love . I am now considered a bakery. Since it's a pain to change my businesses name ,I will remain SILVER THREADS COUNTRY CATERING. I am taking orders for all your holiday needs for desserts. This Friday , Dec. 7 is the cut off date to order pumpkin rolls. I have 3 on hand so if you want one or more I'll need to get them made before I start in on all the catering dinners I have this year. Thanks so much.

Oh my, it's almost over. What a wonderful season we've had this year at The Johnson City Farmer's Market. Thanks to you ,our customer's . For those of you that want a particular item you need to call or message me so that I can hold that item for you . You may also place orders for the last Saturday October 26th. You can do so tomorrow or you may call by Monday October 21. Please don't wait until the day before market to order because you may be out of luck. Remember that we do sell from our home when we aren't at the market. You may pick up at our home or we will deliver for a small fee depending on the distance of the delivery or the amount you order. I'm sorry I haven't posted on here for awhile. I had surgery the first of February and am now feeling more like myself. We hope to be at the Johnson City Farmer's Market on April 28 from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm. We haven't heard back from them as to whether our application has been accepted this year so stay tuned for an update any day now. The market is revamping a lot of stuff and it's taking a little time to get used to the new system. I'll let you know as soon as I know if we'll be setting up in J.C. this year. Thanks for your patience.

As promised , here's a list of cakes on hand for last minute shopper's: 9x9 cakes - 2 carrot w/ orange cream cheese icing - 2 coconut cream - 2 hummingbird w/pecan/cream cheese icing - 1 lemon w/lemon cream cheese icing - 1 oatmeal & 8 1/2 cream cheese filled pumpkin rolls. I can still take special orders if you don't wait too long to order. Cakes are $9.00 & Pumpkin rolls are $11.00 that includes tax.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are getting ready for Christmas. So here's the deal. I have a lot of good sized catering jobs in the next 2 weeks to get ready for. That being said , if you want desserts for Christmas or parties you need to order as soon as possible so I can make up my work schedule. I don't want to have to turn people down and I don't know how long I'll be able to take orders so don't be a last minute person or you may be out of luck this year. Depending on the size of your order ,I will deliver to you or you can pick up here. Please don't put it off. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all.
