Our dear friends of Jean Burnette Estate Sales and of The Boxwood, we are heartbroken to inform you of the devastating loss of one of our closest friends and long-time teammate, Joe Snodgrass. Joe has been an integral part of our lives for many years, and his passing has left a gaping hole in our hearts. We will miss him greatly, and we ask that you remember his mother, Pat, in your prayers as she embarks on this difficult journey of navigating life without her beloved son.

Friends of Boxwood, we want to remind everyone to “Eat, Drink, and Shop LOCAL” once this cold releases its grip on us. So many of our friends that own or work at a small business and local restaurants are the ones taking the brunt of this cold snap! This weather will soon pass so please make sure to tip your servers a bit extra, tip your hairdressers a bit extra, tip anyone that is working in a job that a tip can make or break them a bit extra, express additional gratitude as often as you can to our essential workers, and simply be kind to those that are making sure you and your family/friends are being well taken care of. Remember that a warm smile or a kind word goes a long way.
