Perry Kurtz -- a comedian who appeared on "America's Got Talent" and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and had ties to several comedy legends -- died Thursday night after performing at a local cafe and crossing the street.
Perry was from this area and had appeared at the Comedy Works Bristol prior to the Pandemic anytime he came back East to visit his mother who still lived in the area.
Perry was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Tarzana, an L.A. neighborhood, after a collision around 11:20 PM Thursday ... when a gray Honda Civic struck and killed him. The Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
RIP Perry.

The Comedy Works Bristol (located inside Georgine’s Restaurant, 1320 Newport Rd., Bristol, Pa) is the premiere Comedy Club in the Bucks County, Burlington County and Northeast Philadelphia area.
Originally started in 1980 above the Middle East Restaurant in Philadelphia, the Georgine’s Restaurant location has continued to bring a change of new Headlining Comedians for every show.
No other Comedy Club offers what we have and there is a difference. Admission is only $25 for regular shows and we offer tableside wait staff service for food and drinks. We do fundraising for local charities and groups on Friday evenings.
