"We were just driving thru the Bristol area on the way to vacation and looking for a place to stop for a latte, and stumbled into this place in a gas station.( What??!) Omg so glad we did. Traditional Italian coffee, crepes, and an array of Mediterranean dishes as well as pastries. Also the gentleman that served us was efficient and friendly, just perfect. Everyone who lives there is amazingly lucky. Saved it as a favorite, and you should too! Thanks 👍"

Yassas travelers! Quick update, our interstate sign is up, and we're making the final touches on the menu design. Due to the snow and ice, our opening will be delayed for a bit. Please be patient and check back here for the official date of our soft opening!

After traveling the globe and working in kitchens in London, Dubai, and New York City, Mustafa knew that this place, Southwest Virginia, was going to be home. And, he comes bearing gifts.

In 2018, Mustafa brought Greek and Mediterranean dishes to us in Abingdon, Virginia with Greeko’s Grill & Café. He introduced us to lamb gyro-cut right off the cone—just like they do on the streets in the East. His famous seasoned rice. His Grandmother’s recipes for Moussaka and Pastistio. An authentic Greek salad complete with a scoop of Greek Potato Salad served right on top. He created a family-friendly atmosphere perfect for casual dining.

In 2022, Mustafa wanted to extend the experience and offerings beyond Greeko’s and offer a new ambiance and selection fitting of a European-style cafe to Abingdon. A place to gather, hang out, play board games, hold informal meetings, and enjoy amazing coffee drinks, fresh juices, and Boba Tea; a place to eat fun foods like rolled ice cream and sweet and savory crepes in a very relaxed atmosphere where you feel comfortable to stay for hours. Rendezvous International Café brings the world together so your taste buds can travel to even more places like Italy, Taiwan, France, and the Philippines. Both Greeko’s and Rendezvous offer unique and inviting dining experiences for the sit-down customer.

Now, in 2024, after many requests for easier access for on-the-go customers, Mustafa is opening a quick-service restaurant while maintaining the quality of the food and drinks of Greeko’s and Rendezvous. He’s taking the most popular items from his two sit-down restaurants and making them available in a convenient drive-through, right off of 81.

The delicious coffees, juices and boba teas of Rendezvous will now be served alongside lamb gyro, chicken souvlaki and falafel from Greeko’s, on-the-go! Dash into Ellinikos Drive Thru Café today! It’s the quality you’ve grown to love with the speed you sometimes need. Coming soon at Exit 5 (located inside Exxon).
