Enrollment is underway for our next Private Pilot (FAR Part 141 approved) ground school course! We will tentatively begin April 12, 2024. The course will be hosted in person in the RAC main office conference room. Classes will be held on Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for 16 weeks.
Cost: $299 (Plus supplies and books kit $225) = TOTAL: $524

There are just 11 years between the first flights of these two aircraft, the Lancaster in 1941 & Vulcan in 1952.
What makes it more incredible is that they were designed by the same man, Mr Roy Chadwick (1893-1947).

These jobs include pilots for commercial and transportation needs, as well as supporting roles as maintainers, flight operations, flight science and aircraft engineers? EAA Chapter 44’s Young Eagles Workshop is a great way to start!
EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) Chapter 44, located at the Sport Aviation Center at Ledgedale Airpark in Brockport, will be holding a 2-day Aviation Young Eagles Workshop, Saturday, August 13th, and Sunday August 14th, from 9 am to 4 pm.
Age limit is 11- to 17-year-old boys and girls. Our maximum enrollment will be 21 campers on a first paid first reserved basis. Cost of the camp will be only $99 for 2 days! The day camp features 2 aviation-packed days of activities. 3 workshops focusing on aircraft simulators, aviation metal works, and an aviation wood wing project. Other programs will cover how airplanes fly, airport operations, drones, aerodynamics, flight instruments, aircraft communications and traffic patterns, navigation, and much more! We will have fly-ins and static display of aircraft on site!
