"Chalk It Up!" An Art Festival

Main stage entertainment returns for this year's art festival! 🎸🎤

It all kicks off Friday, September 27th at 5pm-9pm. Acts include singer/songwriter Maddie Riggin, da BOMB cover band Home Skillet, and the Inspyral Circus Glow Show!

Saturday, September 28th will include performances from Major Sass Dance Company, Austin Travis, Theatre Arts, The Hi-Fi Hillbillies, singers from Staccato Studios, and Tulsa Raqs Belly Dance.

The public artist reception is tonight at Arts@302! 🎨

Over 60 artists of all ages will get a 6’x6′ or 10’x10′ space on Main Street to create their colorful chalk masterpiece. Competing artists will each be eligible for prizes including “Best Interpretation of Theme”, “Best Use of Color”, and “Best Composition”. All 10 prize winners will be awarded a $100 cash prize.

Artists will begin their chalk drawing on Friday night 5pm-8pm and complete them on Saturday 9am-2pm. Your $45 registration covers the cost of chalk, a festival t-shirt, and a goody bag.

Did you know that we have an art class scholarship fund for children? Each block of classes we have $2,000 of full-tuition scholarships to give out for our multi-week courses and workshops. However, each session a majority of that money goes unclaimed due to few applications.

If you or a family you know has children that could benefit from our scholarship fund, please urge them to apply for this fantastic opportunity. Art is for everyone and everyone is creative. Our scholarship fund is here to make that a reality!

Our scholarship fund was made possible through a $30,000 private donation by the family of Junior and Joan Beaver. We give our deepest thanks to the family for the opportunities already given to many children and many more to come in the future.
