As you know, rose is one of the main notes in our latest incense 'Tabuk.' This was our first time using rose oil and we were shocked to find that Rose Otto costs around $80 for just 2ml! ⠀
⠀
Some background: Rose Otto is hydro-distilled from the petals of the rose flower and takes around 10,000 roses to make just 5ml of oil 🤯⠀
⠀
Feeling rather guilty, especially since this doesn't seem to be very sustainable, we were able to dilute this EO in a carrier and fixed it with geranium, allowing us to stretch this beautiful and luxurious oil in our incense without losing its' strength. ⠀⠀⠀
