Please welcome Rosie to BCA. She will be working on Saturdays. As some of you already know, she is a warm, caring, experienced practitioner. In her own words:
Rosemary earned a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture. Her training includes Chinese Acupuncture Studies, Chinese Herbal Medicine, and a specialization in Japanese Acupuncture Studies.
In her time as an acupuncturist and herbalist, she has become adept at developing individualized treatment plans, building positive patient-practitioner relationships, and developing the skills necessary for treating a wide range of health concerns including digestive disorders, musculoskeletal pain, infertility and women’s health, migraines, insomnia, and allergies.
At one point early on in acupuncture school when Rosemary was just beginning to study Chinese herbs, she remembers realizing that she had been waiting all her life to learn this ancient medical practice. The desire to deepen her practice of acupuncture and herbal medicine continues to be of utmost importance in her life. She welcomes with gratitude each individual that comes to her seeking to improve their health.
May those who observe Yom Kippur have a meaningful fast. BCA will reopen Tuesday morning. May it be a year of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world)

I am happy to announce that Julia is back and Saturday appointments are now available.
Having worked nonstop throughout the pandemic, I will be taking off next Thursday and Friday, the 25th and 26th of June, for a much needed respite. BCA will be open the usual hours Sunday through Wednesday and will reopen on Sunday the 28th.
We are open and providing treatments in a safe environment. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to contact [email protected]. If you're ready to make an appointment, you can do so by going to www.snapappointments.com/bcacup
Brookline Community Acupuncture remains open during these difficult and challenging times. By limiting/spacing out treatments, wearing masks, and repeatedly sanitizing, we are able to provide treatments in a safe environment, supporting those in need. Please stay healthy!
Given the current health crisis, we want to let you know that we at Brookline Community Acupuncture are doing everything possible to keep it a safe environment. Of course, we are asking that anyone who might have been exposed to the coronavirus or who is the least bit sick to stay home. We are also taking extra precautions by repeatedly disinfecting surfaces throughout the clinic.
Although the decision now is to remain open, we are making some other changes to minimize exposure and risk. One change is that we are spacing out the appointments so there are no more than two people in the room at a time. This allows patients to sit in recliners more than the minimum recommendation of six feet apart. We are also asking that patients sanitize their hands upon entering the clinic, and we are wiping down the armrests of the recliners between patients. In addition, as long as the coronavirums remains a risk, we are able to treat patients in the small individual room.
As you may know, stress/anxiety and inadequate sleep all contribute to a weakened immune system. Acupuncture is able to treat these issues and thus help to keep you healthy and strong.
We hope that these measures provide you with the comfort level that permits you to come in for your treatments. Of course, this is a rapidly changing situation. We will alert you if we are forced to make further changes. If you have any questions or concerns, please to not hesitate to contact us.
Stay healthy!
Stress, anxiety, and poor sleep can all lower ones immunity. Acupuncture can treat these symptoms and thus promote optimal health.
During these unsettling and uncertain times, we at Brookline Community Acupuncture continue to provide comfort and healing in a safe, nurturing environment. Make your appointment today at www.snapappointments.com/bcacup and greet the world calmer and stronger.
