BROOKLINE COVID-19 UPDATE, MAY 27
Community Transmission: High
The Health Department continues to monitor COVID-19 data. Last night the CDC updated its weekly COVID-19 Transmission map. Norfolk, Suffolk, and Middlesex Counties remain in the high risk category. Therefore our Mask Mandate for Indoor Town-Owned Spaces Where Public Gathers remains in place.
As can be seen in our COVID-19 Hub, the rate of cases in Brookline and across the region is trending downward. In the meantime, we recommend the public wear masks in public spaces, stay up to date on COVID-19 vaccines, and get tested if you have symptoms. We will update the community again next Friday (June 3rd).
Visit www.brooklinema.gov/health for more information.
