Thought you might likr to know about the upcoming construction project on Canal Rd. AKA the Canal Road Storm Culvert Failure Repair Under the Ohio & Erie Canal C-announcement courtesy of the Village of Valley View.

Fabrizi Trucking & Paving will commence with construction for the Canal Road Storm Culvert Failure Repair Monday 10/2/2023.

The Canal Road Storm Culvert Failure is located between Hillside Road and Hathaway Road and will required the contractor to remove a portion of the guardrail to access the sewer repair under the Ohio & Erie Canal.

The work scope will be performed utilizing temporary traffic signals and two way traffic will be maintained utilizing one lane at all times.

Expect lengthy delays especially during am and pm high volume events.

Work will take place between 7 am and 5:30 pm daily and the electronic message boards state the work scope will be completed between 10/2 & 10/20.

The temporary traffic signals will remain in place in evenings and weekends since the guardrail will be removed for this repair.
