Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join the Prayer Ministry Team on the first Wednesday of every month, 1pm at church. It’s called “Prayer Raid!” because we meet at the same time the county’s test sirens are sounding throughout our area.
Jesus says in the Bible, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am with them” (Matthew 18:20).

If you’re celebrating these last days of summer with a picnic, you’ll enjoy this SALAD RECIPE that was served at our recent Corn Boil event, submitted by Karen H. Enjoy the holiday!
Broccoli, Grape Salad:
2 cups fresh broccoli cut into bite sized pieces
1 cup red grapes
1 cup green grapes
1 cup celery cut in 1/2” bite size pieces
1/2 cup sweet onion cut up
1 cup packaged cooked bacon, or 1/2 pound fried & cut into small pieces
1/2 cup craisins
Mix all together; may add more of any ingredient, for your taste
Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Mix and pour over the veggies/fruit/bacon, then stir

Thank you for praying this week for Redeemer's mission trip team - Dave, Traci, Pat, Tom - as they serve college students at Alaska Christian College. Projects include campus painting, sewing, cleaning, repairing. Other servants at ACC this week include six from Bethany Cov in CT (Pastor Ben) and five+ from Rockford and other Covenant churches.

It’s a great time to make new friends and get acquainted with Redeemer.

THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 4, 10AM | We’re excited to welcome Rev. Amy Long as our guest speaker for the Children’s Moment and the Sunday message. She’ll lead us in studying “The Discipleship of Peter.” The worship service will include Holy Communion. Come early to greet Amy and grab some hot coffee.

We invite you to PRAY for our ALASKA MISSION TRIP TEAM as they serve with Alaska Christian College in Soldotna, August 3-10, 2024

Heavenly Father, we ask that you would take care of the Alaska Mission Team as they travel to do your work at Alaska Christian College. Equip them with boldness, not only in their work but in their words as they share the good news of Jesus. Lord, give them the eyes to see what you need them to do, and give them the strength to get it done. Make clear your guidance and wisdom as they serve. May they go forth with our prayers, our blessing, and our love to do your work. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

In life, here’s a question that floats around: What is fair? Everyone has a different perspective of what is fair, or NOT fair. In the recent July 14 sermon, Pastor Dan defines fairness as the quality of treating people equally or in a way that’s right and reasonable. But as Jesus’ followers, how do we translate that into practical everyday living? Nothing says "summer" like a picnic ... even if it is indoors! The outdoor temp on this Minnesota day was high 80s with humidity, so we loved the air-conditioned Cafe Commons space for today's fun gathering with friends.
