🚨NEW PROGRAM🚨

We are excited to announce a new six week program this fall. We want to welcome any 9th-12th graders who didn't tryout for their high school team or unfortunately didn't make a team.

There will be one practice and a game day per week. You have the choice to attend Monday (4:30-6pm) or Tuesday (5-6:30pm) practices. Game days will be Thursdays (5-6:30pm).

Having fun and being silly at youth!!

Today is Caiden Rexius Cox’s Birthday- our amazing VC Denver Director! I’m Mike, one of the owners of Sport Axis and VC Denver. I’m posting here to ask everyone to please help us celebrate with Caiden. With Open Gyms and Tryouts complete, Caiden has done an amazing job building our club to 21 teams strong. VCD is now a place for young women to enjoy great coaches, amazing leadership and tons of competition at each age level. Our practice, our training and our scrimmages will be like very few other programs in the state. All the girls have an excellent opportunity to grow, get better and have a wonderful season.

Thanks to all the parents who upheld their verbal commitment and maintained their integrity. Know that you made the best choice, the right way with Caiden and our team. I’m so happy VCD can bring this level of volleyball to Broomfield, so your kids don’t have to drive hours every week to have awesome teams and coaches.

This is all because of our team led by Caiden! Thank you Caiden for all you do and Happy Birthday!!! 🎉🎂🎁

Our 18 Gold Head Coach is Lyndsey Benson 🎉 Lyndsey is entering her 2nd season as a head coach for VC. Lyndsey is entering her 7th year coaching club and her 3rd year as a head coach for HS. She also played one year of club volleyball for Grand Canyon University. Lyndsey can be found jumping up and down on the sidelines and is the first person to cheer all of our girls on. Lyndsey has great volleyball IQ and works very hard to help her team grow. 🏆

Our 17 Gold Head Coach is Kyle Becker 🎉 Kyle is entering his 2nd year coaching for VC. Kyle has 12 years of playing experience as an OH, RS, and setter. Kyle coached 1 year with Setter College before coming to VC. Kyle is a coach that will pump his athletes up while pushing them to improve. Kyle is willing to do whatever it takes to help athletes in our organization, and does a very good job coaching specific skills for our athletes. 🏆

Our 16 Gold Head Coach is Janelle Bennett 🎉 Janelle is entering her 2nd year as a head coach for VC. This will be Janelle’s 17th year coaching club and her 12th year coaching HS where she is the current Varsity coach for Standley Lake HS. Janelle is bubbly, passionate, and cares for every single person who steps foot into our gym. She is a great leader for our organization and does not have a negative bone in her body🏆

Our 15 Gold Head Coach is Sarah Sparling 🎉 Sarah is entering her 2nd year as a head coach for VC. This is Sarah’s third year coaching club and she is entering her 5th season coaching for Prospect Ridge Academy HS. Sarah played 4 years of college ball at Western State Colorado University. Sarah is fiery and provides an energy that makes the girls want to compete. Sarah is trustworthy, and her passion for the sport radiates throughout her teams🏆

Our 14 Gold Head Coach is Danielle Pendzinski 🎉 Danielle is entering her 2nd year coaching at VC. Danielle played 4 years of college ball at Rock Valley Community College and William Penn University. Danielle coached high school volleyball at Legacy HS and will be coaching for Erie HS this upcoming season. Danielle is always giving the girls positive feedback while filling them with confidence. She always has a smile on her face but will still make sure the girls are giving it their all🏆

Our 13 Black Head Coach is Amber Lebsock 🎉 Amber is entering her 3rd year at VC as a head coach. This will be Amber’s 11th year coaching club volleyball 👏🏼 Amber played club volleyball at the University of Washington and was a State Champion and 2x Runner-Up in high school. Amber has coached our 13s the past two seasons and does an amazing job with this age group. She is positive, uplifting, and is always looking for ways to help the girls improve. Amber puts in countless hours off the court to make the girls’ experience the best possible. She has high expectations, and does a great time balancing competitiveness and fun. 🏆

Our 14 Black Coach is Andres Rodriguez-Burns 🎉 Andres is entering his first year at VC as a head coach. Andres coached 6 years at Nebraska Elite where he led his teams to 15 Open AAU National Championship runner up and 2 top 5 finishes at the 15 Open USAV National Championship. He played 4 years at Creighton University as a setter and helped assist the Creighton Women’s Team as well. Andres was also selected to the USAV Junior Olympic Training Program. 🏆

Our 15 Black coach is Brendon Feddema aka “Fedds” 🥳 Fedds is entering his third year as a head coach at VC Denver and is our Assistant Director. Fedds has coached 5 years of HS volleyball and is entering his 10th season as a club coach. Fedds is enthusiastic, invested, and creates a high energy atmosphere for our athletes. You will find Fedds in the gym helping out with all of our teams and doing whatever he can to help improve VC. 🏆

Our 16 Black Coach is Kaylee Bundrick 🥳 Kaylee is entering her 3rd season at VC as a head coach after coaching an additional 5 years of club volleyball. Kaylee played college ball for Colorado Christian for 4 years as a DS. Kaylee holds her teams to a high standard, goes above and beyond to make the girls’ experience awesome, and provides a competitive spirit. Kaylee does a great job pushing her teams to be better on and off the court. She is skills focused and her teams have shown tremendous growth throughout their seasons. 🏆

Our 17 Black coach is Jess Hibl 🥳 Jess is our Assistant Director and Youth Director. Jess played college ball for Black Hills State University for 5 years and Assistant Coached for BHSU 2 years after playing. Jess coached our 14 Gold and 15 Gold teams this season at VC while growing our youth program to 100+ athletes. She is also entering her 2nd season as the JV coach at The Academy. Jess is loyal, the hardest worker, and passionate about the game of volleyball. Whenever someone walks into the gym, they are always excited to see Jess 🏆

We are so excited to announce our Black level coaches for the 2024-2025 season! 🥳 Gold and Regional coaches will be announced very soon. To start us off is our Director Caiden Cox who will coach 18 Black. Caiden coached club volleyball for 5 years at Denver Juniors from 2017-2021, and is entering her third season as a high school coach with this year being her 2nd year as the Varsity coach at The Academy. Caiden grew up in Eaton Colorado where she won three state volleyball titles, was the 3A player of the year, and received All State honors all 4 years. She went on to play college ball at Western Colorado as an OH for 1 year and then transferred to MSU Denver where she played DS/Libero for 5 more years.🏆

16 Black ended up 4th in 17s gold bracket at RMR Regionals!! Way to play hard!!

14 Black kicked butt this weekend in the RMR Regionals tournament. They won all 5 matches on the second day and pinned. Way to take first in the silver bracket!!

17B had their last games together this past weekend. They have been such a blast this season!! Good job in Dallas at the Lone Star Classic.

15B after their first day of regionals! They won 3 of the 4 games today.

Good luck again tomorrow in bracket play to all our teams competing!!

We will be having teams of all age groups this upcoming season (11s-18s). There will be black, gold, and regional teams for most age groups. Please make sure you fill out the registration form with the correct age you will be trying out for. You can also find the age definition on our website.
